Two Birthday Cards

Hi Everyone,
I bet once you see the inspiration picture from Stampin' Royalty you want to play along too!

I heat embossed with WOW gold embossing powder on rainbow paper, using my old wood Hero Arts Starburst Lace stamp. Added some gold Washi tape on the side and the sentiment.
Here is that fantastic picture - I really liked the cake:

Another view of my card:

For my second card I got enticed by Inkspirational to play along in their current challenge - they have a fun inspiration picture - very appealing to me. I also knew right away what I would use to make my card and here it is:

I envisioned it differently and I am not really happy with the outcome. It actually was more work than I thought and I don't like the look of it. I think it's mainly that I did not really have the correct matching paper. Oh well. It is what it is. Somebody will get this card, that's for sure. Maybe one of my son's friends....

My supplies - Papertrey and Lil' Inkers (smile die)

Die erste Karte ist sehr elegant. Der goldene Stempel macht ordentlich was her.
Bei der zweiten Karte hast du einen Stempel oder Stencil benutzt??? Ich finde den nämlich großartig. Die gesamte Karte ist sehr schön, sie gefällt mir sehr gut.
Genieß den Sonntag, liebe Grüße

Hello Cornelia,
I love your first card. It looks like a million dollars :-) Very elegant, great inspiration! Of course, I do not have such a beautiful stamp, but I have idea of using other products :-) The second card is a wonderfully colorful and creates a great perspective effect. Thank you, I wish you a nice Sunday.
hugs,
Bozen
Sensationell!!!!
Ganz liebe Grüsse Elisabeth

C-A-N-N-O-T S-P-E-A-K! That's because both of these took my breath away. It was like going to a gallery and seeing one spectacular painting after another. That first card is something I could just dive into...unmatched color blending and that golden glimmer (*heavy sigh*). Then you top it off with the splendor of all that colorful shimmer on the second card...my eyes may never be the same. I truly do not understand why you're not pleased with it.

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car
